Stour Church was founded with a purpose: to live out the love and compassion of Jesus by seeking, supporting, and serving those who need it most. We believe that true faith isn’t just spoken, it’s shown through action. That’s why we’re out in the community, making a real difference through everyday acts of service as well as running the ‘usual’ church services.
Whether you’re looking to get involved or need support, or want to attend services, we’re here for you. However, please note that the days we deliver some missions and services can vary from week to week based on the needs of the community and our volunteers’ availability.
Church Services & Sessions
- Sunday Service: Our Sunday services are currently being held online while we’re preparing our new venue. The service is open to anyone who wants to take part or watch.
- Thursday Prayer: The Thursday prayer gatherings bring together members of our community to pray and chat. Like our Sunday service, they are currently being held online.
- Office Hours: Office Hours are meeting slots available to anyone, inside or outside of our church community, to get support or guidance, or to talk through baptism, church vocations, or ordination.
- Alpha Course: Our online Alpha Courses run every Sunday evening and aim to help people discuss some of life’s biggest topics and explore faith. They are free to attend and run across several weeks.
For information on how to access our church services, book an office hour meeting, or attend an Alpha course, please contact us.
Church Missions & Projects
- Homeless Support: On an evening each week, we distribute ‘support packs’ which contain food, drink, and toiletry items to those most in need living on the streets in Stourbridge.
- Community Food Bank: Staple food packs are available upon request, no questions asked, to provide support for families who need a helping hand. They are provided free of charge.
- Town Service: We regularly head out into the community to serve, carrying out litter picks, cutting back weeds and other similar projects. Small acts add up!
